The Early Competition Years (2015-2016)

In 2015, he made his mark at the Zumiez Best Foot Forward Vancouver competition, finishing in 5th place. The following year, in 2016, Andy returned to the same competition and improved his performance, securing 4th place. These consistent top-five finishes in competitive environments showcased his ability to perform under pressure and highlighted his distinctive approach to skateboarding that was beginning to turn heads in the industry.
Breaking Through (2017-2018)
2017 marked a significant year in Andy's development as he began competing in larger, more prestigious events. He participated in the Vans Park Series Americas Continental Championships, finishing in 11th place. This competition exposed him to a higher level of competition and helped him refine his skills against some of the best park skaters in the Americas.
Andy also competed in the Jackalope Festival, where he achieved a top-10 finish, further establishing his reputation as a rising talent in the skateboarding world. His unique style, which blended freestyle elements with modern park and street techniques, was beginning to set him apart from his peers.
In 2018, Andy's competitive career reached new heights. He finished 4th at The Boardr Am in New York, narrowly missing the podium but demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest levels. He also made the finals in the park competition at the Mystic Sk8 Cup and achieved 6th place finishes at both the Continental Championships and the Nitro World Games.
The Turning Point: Going Pro (2019)
2019 was the pivotal year that changed everything for Andy Anderson.
